Application Process

Individuals seeking admission must submit the following for application evaluation:

  • A completed application form

  • A $30 non-refundable application fee. All cheques are to be made payable to "Baptist Theological Seminary".

  • Overseas applicants are required to send an international draft for $30 as application fee along with the application form.

  • All relevant documents as stated in the application form. If documents are not originally in English, they must be translated into English and notarised by the relevant authority.

  • One recent identity card size photo (for Student ID card) and one passport-size photo (for Application Form)

Application Deadlines

  • Local Applicants 1 May

  • Foreign Applicants 1 April

Interview of Applicants

It is preferable that the Seminary can interview the applicants, including those from other countries.

Notice of Approval

When applicant has accepted to study at BTS, a provisional letter of acceptancel will be sent out from the Seminary's Office. Applicants should only report to the Seminary when they have received a written letter of acceptance from BTS.


The academic year is divided into two regular semesters, August to November and January to May, and intensive terms in January and July. Students in all degree programs must follow the requirements and be enrolled in all the courses scheduled. An outline of courses and the proposed schedule will be given to each new student during orientation week.

The basic unit for credit earned is the semester hour, that is, each credit hour is one hour of class instruction per week for 16 weeks.

All fees quoted are in Singapore dollars unless otherwise indicated.
